Nursery: An unstaffed nursery is available for any parents that want to stay with their child(ren) there.

Youth Sunday: Thanks to all of our youth group kids who are participating in today’s services. We appreciate your time and talents, and know that the Lord will bless us all for your efforts!

We are proud to recognize our graduates today!

            From high school: Alexandra Stebbins

From college: Kaitlyn DuBeau, Emma Fox, Kayla Soucy

We are pleased to award Zee Scholarships to the following students: Desmond George (Rowan University), Kayla Soucy (Rowan University), and Alexandra Stebbins (Rowan College of South Jersey). This award is given each year in memory of Elsie Zee, long-time Sunday School teacher, to our students attending college.

Hearing Help: If you need help hearing the services at church, our new Hearing Assistance Program is up and running! See Jim Stiles for help in downloading the app (ListenWIFI) to your phone; you can bring your own earbuds. Or you can borrow a phone and earpiece. Jim will be glad to see you through the process.

No Card-Making Ministry gathering this week. The group will resume next Tuesday.

Trustees will meet on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Hall.  Members are: Ken Aumack, Tom Bennett, Bill Fox, James George, Charlie Harris, Tom Hitchner, Dave Luttenberger and Paul Welch.

Retirement Party: There will be a catered luncheon honoring the retirement of Pastor Steve and Mildred Herman THIS Saturday, June 13th, from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the Fellowship Hall. Due to limited space in the hall, this will be a reservation-based event. If you did not get an email invitation, please contact Heather Freeman at (609) 458-2909. Responses are past due.

There are two kinds of note cards in baskets in the church entryway today. They are for anyone who would like to write a memory, blessing, or thank you to Steve and Mildred for their ministry to RUMC. Take the note card home to fill out and bring it with you that day. There will be a special box for the note cards or any cards that you bring. If you brought yours today, please give it to Betsy Fox.

If you have any photos you would like included in the photo montage, please send them to stiles.jjr2@comcast.net TODAY.

Open House: The Hermans invite you to an Open House in their new home in Glassboro (49 Pintail Drive) on Saturday, June 20th.  Stop in anytime from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. for light snacks. Please do not bring any gifts (not even chocolate).

Father’s Day is June 21st. Dan Orr will be our guest speaker at both services. A special offering will be received that day for the United Methodist Gift of Care Circle, which helps to fill the gap between what a nursing home resident can afford to pay and what those services actually cost.

MYF to Top Golf: The youth group will be going to Top Golf in Mount Laurel on Wednesday, June 24th. We will meet at 11:15 at the Hall to travel together, have lunch there, and play. We plan to return before 3:00. Please sign up with Mildred as soon as possible so we can be sure to have enough transportation; we will need some parents to come too. All kids in 5th – 12th grade are welcome! There will be no charge to anyone who comes; the MYF will pay the bill.

Blood Drive: The Red Cross will sponsor a Blood Drive on Thursday, June 25th, from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. in our Hall. Amy Reuter is coordinating this drive. If you are donating blood, please make an appointment at www.RedCrossBlood.org.

Acolyte Schedule: All kids age 6 through 6th grade are welcome to serve as acolytes, lighting the candles before the 10:00 a.m. service begins. Parents should please sign up in the entryway by June 21st. Drew Tyler will be making up the schedule for the rest of the year. Training will be given to those who need it.

Knit & Crochet Ministry continues to meet each Friday in the Youth Room from 10:00 a.m. to noon.  Anyone interested is welcome to join them! Their summer project this year will be to make hats and scarves for Samaritans House in Glassboro.

Vacation Bible School will be held from July 19th – 23rd, from 5:45 – 8:00 p.m. each evening.  All kids ages 3 through those completing 6th grade are invited. The online registration link is now live. Go to https://richwoodumc.mycokesburyvbs.com/ to sign up your kids or to volunteer! (Use the Child Registration or Volunteer Sign-up drop-down at the top of the page.)

We are still looking for more adult volunteers. We need one group leader and a science teacher, as well as a few more helpers. See Megan Tyler for more information.

The LIFE Class will provide dinners each evening during VBS (except Tuesday – which is Chick-fil-A night). However, we need your help too! There’s a sign-up sheet in the entryway; if you can provide part of a meal or come help serve and clean up, we would appreciate it.

ShopRite Cards: These gift cards work just like cash, and we earn 5% on every dollar. Buy them here and help raise funds for the church. See Jennifer Souders, Sue Hitchner, or Karen Luttenberger (609-617-4546). This is an easy way to raise money for the church.

Greeters/Ushers: If you are willing to serve in the coming weeks, please sign up in the entryway! You can sign up for one week or several!
