Fine Arts Night: Gloucester County Christian
School invites you to attend their Fine Arts program, to be held on
Thursday, March 18th, at 7:00 p.m. at Hardingville Bible
Church. Members of the school choir, hand bell choirs, and drama teams
will present the program, which showcases the talent competing at the
state level that week.
Men’s Breakfast: All men are invited to
gather this Saturday at 8:00 a.m. for breakfast. Meet at the Harrison
House in Mullica Hill for a good meal and great conversation.
Pot Pie Dinner: Tickets are now available
for this popular dinner, to be held this Saturday, March 20th,
from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Cost is $12 for adults and take-outs, and $6 for
children. See Dot Reuter if you can take a pack of tickets to sell to
your friends and neighbors. Cooks, set-up and clean-up crews and bakers
(for dessert) are needed for the day. Please sign up in the Narthex or
the Hall entry if you are willing to provide a cake for dessert (about

to Africa, Trinity UMC in Mullica Hill is holding an auction on
Saturday, March 20th. The preview and dessert buffet start
at 5:00 p.m., with the auction beginning at 6:00. Everyone is welcome.
Family Night Dinner and Talent Show: Next
Sunday is Family Night. The covered dish dinner begins at 5:00 p.m.
Just bring something to share with others. Following the meal will be
our annual Talent Show. Anyone interested in being on the program
should sign up today with Mildred Herman. Share your music, dance, or
drama talent with your church family! Don’t’ miss this highlight of the
year!
Easter Egg Hunt: The annual Easter Egg Hunt
will take place on Saturday, March 27th. The Young Adult
group will be hosting the event, and are looking for donations of cash,
wrapped candy and small, non-edible items like stickers and erasers.
Items should be brought to church by March 21st. See Dawn
Valente.
Choir Cantata: On Sunday, March 28th,
the choir will present the cantata “The Lenten Sketches” by Joseph
Martin. Inspired by classic works of sacred art, this cantata is an
impressionistic portrait of the last days of Jesus. There will only
be one service that day – at 10:00 a.m. in the Hall. Nursery care
will be available and Sunday School classes will be held in their usual
locations. Parents should take their children to class before the
service starts.
Holy Thursday Service: We will hold a
special service on Thursday, April 1st, at 7:00 p.m. in the
sanctuary. Communion will be served as we remember Jesus’ last supper
here on earth.
Good Friday Service: The “Seven Last Words
of Christ” will be the theme of the Good Friday Service, to be held here
on April 2nd, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. If you are interested
in participating in the program by reading a scripture and sharing a
brief reflection on one of the last words, please see the pastor.
Easter Sunday Services: All three of our
Sunday morning services will be held at their usual time on Easter
Sunday. Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of our Lord.
30-Hour Famine: Thank you to everyone who
contributed to World Vision through the MYF’s participation in the
30-Hour Famine. Today is the last day to give toward this, as the MYF
is wrapping up the collection. See any youth group member if you would
like to give.
Softball Sign-ups: A sign-up sheet has been
posted in the Narthex and the Hall entry for the 2010 Season of the All
Faiths Co-Ed Softball League. Anyone (male or female) 16 and over, or
as young as 14 with parental consent, is invited to join the team. The
first game is scheduled for April 13th and practices will be
held before that. Contact Jim Stiles (856) 478-0880 or (856) 625-1137 or
e-mail him at
stiles.jjr2@verizon.net if you have any questions.
Spring Membership: Church Membership Classes
will be held on two Sundays in April – the 11th and the 18th,
at 11:45 a.m. in the Conference Room. Lunch will be served during the
class. Membership Sunday will be April 25th. Please let the
pastor know if you are interested in joining the church!
Vacation Bible School: Save the dates for
this year’s VBS program. It will be held from Sunday, July 25th
through Thursday, July 29th. Volunteers will be needed for
the many jobs that are involved, including a new co-director. (Thanks
to Beth Carter for the years she gave to this job.) See Jennifer Guht
(223-9896 or
JGuht@comcast.net) if you have questions or to volunteer!
Opportunity to Serve: South Jersey
Healthcare HospiceCare is looking for volunteers. These volunteers
provide care and support services to patients and their caregivers in
their homes or in area nursing homes. A new program entitled
Transitions will offer similar services to patients not served by
hospice but in need of help. Training is offered to all volunteers.
For more information, contact Brenda Freitag at (856) 575-4278 or at
freitagb@sjhs.com.

are available any time from Karen Luttenberger, Sandy Russell, Jennifer
Guht, Michele Giaquinto or Dot Reuter. |
