Nursery Schedule: The nursery schedule is as follows for the 10:30 service.  If you have any questions or need to switch with someone, please call Tasha Bowman at 694-1660.  A few more volunteers are needed to help staff the nursery; call Tasha if you are willing to help.

Building Fund Task Force Meeting: This committee will today between the services.  Members are: Carol Brozosky, Heather Freeman, Lesa Griffin, Adele Harper, Gene Lalicker, Dave Luttenberger, Dianne Powell, Lynne Young and the pastor.

Family Night: Our November Family Night program will be held tonight!  The covered dish dinner begins at 5:00 p.m. Following the meal, the Ranch Hope Youth Choir will present the program.  They will sing and then answer questions from the audience.  Plan to bring a bit of extra food to help feed these kids! Please support this program with your attendance.

Thanksgiving Baskets: The Missions Committee will be putting together three Thanksgiving Baskets to give to needy families in our area.  If you are willing to donate any items to include, please sign up in the Narthex for a specific item(s) to bring.  Non-perishable items should be brought to church as soon as possible.  See Carol Brozosky if you have questions.

Missions Committee will meet tomorrow night at 6:30 in the Conference Room at the Hall.  Anyone interested in helping with their coming projects is welcome to join them.

Church Council will meet Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the Conference Room at the Hall.  All members should plan to attend.

District Resource Day: Our church will host this event this Wednesday.  Everyone is invited to meet from 8:45 – 3:00 to discuss Covenant Discipleship Groups with Gayle Turner Watson.  Reservations are past due; pick up a form in the Narthex and turn it in to the pastor today if you are interested in attending.  Everyone is welcome to attend the evening session from 7:00 – 9:00.

Messiah Sing-a-long: The Cape Island Baptist Church in Cape May invites you to attend the 21st Annual Messiah Sing-a-long on Friday, November 28th, at 7:30 p.m.  One rehearsal will be held this Friday, November 21st, for anyone interested in singing in the Chorus.

Cookie Baking Session: In preparation for the Christmas Cookie Sale, a baking session will be held in the Hall kitchen this Saturday, November 22nd, starting at 9:00 a.m.  Drop off cookie dough with instructions or come bake with us.

Collecting Calendars: Bobbie Pohl is collecting 2009 calendars to send to our troops overseas.  Please give her any you can’t use.

MYF Greens Project: Starting next Sunday, the MYF will be working on grave blankets, swags and garland.  All items will be made to order and ready for pick up on Saturday, November 29th. The work schedule for next week is as follows:

                Sunday, November 23rd, 2:30 – 4:00  Cut greens

                Monday, 8:30 – 11:00    Moms work (or whoever is available)

                Tuesday, 8:30 – 11:00    Moms work

                               3:30 – 5:00      Kids work

                Friday, 9:00 – 12:00       Kids work

                Saturday, 9:00 – 11:00  Greens available for pick up

All work sessions will be held at the Willmot’s home (130 Cedar Road).  Wear old, warm clothes and bring garden clippers if you have them.  Anyone interested in helping will be welcomed!!

Sunday School News: Parts for the Children’s Christmas Program (to be held on Sunday, December 14th) have been given out.  If your child did not get one, or if your child cannot participate in the program, please see Donna Kavlunas as soon as possible.

Gift Cards: Here is a great way to do your holiday shopping: purchase your favorite gift cards at face value and earn a profit for the church.  All kinds of cards are available, from restaurants to department stores.  Order forms are in the Narthex and the Coffee Room.  One order will be going out today, so turn in your form today.  Another order will go out on December 7th.  See Amy Reuter (589-5444) if you have questions.

Thanksgiving Day Service: Join us on Thursday, November 27th, at 8:00 a.m. for our annual service with Rev. Dave Bailey.  An offering will be received then for Ranch Hope’s ministry.

Advent Readers: If your family is interested in lighting the candles and reading for a service during Advent, please sign up in the Narthex.  Advent begins on November 30th.

Auction Coming: On May 16th, the church will hold a live auction. We will be looking for items to sell that day.  Furniture, tractors, yard and household items, collectibles, and antiques will be collected around the middle of April.  Please let the pastor know if you have a trailer that we can use on site for temporary storage of these items.
